Larry K.L. Chiang was elected the 1st Lion Rock Junior Chamber Youth Leadership Award in 2007. He is also the winner of Canadian University Association Hong Kong - Maple Elite Award in 2011. He holds Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Waterloo in Canada.
Larry was appointed as the committee member of Zhuhai District, Guangzhou Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), member of the Hong Kong Youth Elite Association, member of the Guangzhou Youth Federation and Vice President of Guangdong Association of Foreign Trade. He is also the Founding Chairman of the Hong Kong Youth Culture & Art Development Association (YCAA), AIA Hong Kong District Director, the MDRT Chairman of The Life Underwriters Association of Hong Kong, Visiting Lecturer at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, School of Business as well as the capital entrepreneur columnist of the “Capital Entrepreneur” financial magazine.
Larry is also an avid philanthropist. He is actively involved in supporting youth development and the growth of financial industry in Greater China. He was the Vice-Chairman of Friends of the Community Chest Tuen Mun District (2004 – 2006), Director of the 38th & 39th Yan Chai Hospital Board (2005 – 2007), Director of the Yan Chai Hospital Tung Chi Ying Memorial Secondary School (2005 – 2007), Director of the Hong Kong Fujian Charitable Education Fund (2005 – 2007), member of the Yau Tsim Mong District Parent-Teacher Association (2010 – 2011), Director of the 61st & 62nd Board of Directors of Pok Oi Hospital (2010 – 2012) and School Manager of Pok Oi Hospital POH Tang Pui King Memorial College (2011 – 2012). Larry was the Chairman of Lang Lang Music Life Sharing Committee as well as the member of the Tsuen Wan Adventist Hospital Development Committee in 2011.
